When I open Lavasoft I get an outdated definitions message and suggested action to run webupdate. I try running webupdate and get a "waiting" or error message. I also have a red x mark on the status page for authenticity.

I am a novice on the computer - please assist. I read the FAQ's and have trouble understanding. I'm not even sure that I am posting this to the correct location.

I have the Ad-Aware Plus edition.
