Hi guys, I have been having problems with my PC for almost a month or so now. First, it is already very slow, I cannot access my task manager, it says it has been disabled by the ADMINISTRATOR, my Yahoo Messenger pops up every 30 minutes and sends links to whoever is on my friends list, in a language I do not UNDERSTAND. I tried using myAV, but it too has been very slow, 1 hour and 30 mins. only 1k files scanned... My other programs won't run, if they do, moves like worms. I also used my AD-Aware, found some but it doesn't improve my PC performance, Hope you can help me in this predicament that I have since FORMATTING is really not an OPTION that I have right now.

hello again, I have read some of the threads here and I found their problems similar to mine, I have tried doing it on my own, to some extent my PC performance have improved. Only one problem I have encountered so far, I can't seem to run ComboFix, since it says it is outdated. Anyways, I have pasted here my recent HJT log, hope it helps... I have not tried other steps yet since I do not know how to proceed until I can run the ComboFix.

Well, Hello

Your topic got overlooked because of all the replies to it and it would appear to our helpers looking first for topics with 0 replies to answer first they probably assumed you were already being helped.

Since that is not the case, could you please download and run this free diagnostic tool so I can asses what issues might remain?

Download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) to your Desktop. Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges.

1. Close all applications and windows.
2. Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
3. When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt<-this one will be minimized
4. Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt and the extra.txt to your post. in your reply
