I have been using SE Ad-Aware Personal for years with no problems. I decided to pay for Ad-Aware 2007 Plus and I find it very complicated, when I scanned Part 1 it went fine and
quickly, Part 2 Scanning File (Conditional) seemed to hang - I left it for over
an hour with nothing appearing to happen before shutting it down.

This is a new pc that I bought 3 days ago so there's not too many file to
check. Also, I scheduled it to scan automatically at 7am this morning
and it didn't. I manually selected scan and the above happened again.

I'm using WIN XP SP2.

Is there a problem here or maybe a newbie section for 2007 Plus set-up ?

Any assistance appreciated. unsure.gif

I must say how disappointed I am on this "Support" forum. I emailed Lavasoft to report my problem and got the 'auto-reply' runaround, refered to another link that basically refered me here. What's the use? their have been several with similar problems - to which no one offers suport or replies. It would be nice if this forum had a "Newbie Set-up Section"

I was so happy for years with the Free Edition, so much so that I decided to support Ad-Aware by paying for 2007 Plus - that's when it all went wrong - I have no idea what to do and no one seems to want to help. Guess I'll kiss the money goodbye, delete 21007 Plus and go back to the Free Edition again - at least it worked !!!
