GRAPHX.... My last scan had no links (R0/R1) in it at all. Only the very last 2 - Verizon and Proxy Override. I had planned on calling Verizon to see if they intentionally had the "override". I truly, truly appreciate your help. Another thanks is in order! Carol

GRAPHX asked me to post the HJT log, as you can see at the AAW forum. I'm not looking to "delete the service". GRAPHX suggested I change the setting in post #7, within the thread. Does this only "hide it from sight", or does it correct a perceived problem? I had mentioned, I didn't see it as a threat. I'm only wanting to know, if anyone know's why the entry has changed, since it's never looked as such, in any of my past logs.

Yes, it only hides it from sight as you call it. There's no problem with that process or with the Command line. Looks normal.

From the WinTasks Process Library



What's in the command line in the log is the same as you will find for the data value of the "Windows" value under next key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\SubSystems

And it is normal looking in your case.
