I managed to remove some virtumonde files (xxywwvs.dll, ddayy.dll, bafykkno.dll, qyniemkf.dll) with various software. However, jkhfg.dll is still listed in C:\windows\system32. Can you help?

I read instructions from other threads with similar problem, then I ran ComboFix.exe and the jkhfg.dll is now gone
Can you see the ComboFix and NEW HijackThis logs see if the virtumonde is totally removed?

Apologies for the late reply, we've been rather swamped in here.

You got most of it but I still see some suspect entries in your logs.

Could you please post back with a Fresh HijackThis log for review?

BUT FIRST: Let's rename your HijackThis.exe so that VUndo can't hide (if that is what it is doing here)

Navigate to this file:

C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Desktop\HiJackThis\HijackThis.exe <--rightclick on the file and choose *rename* from the drop down menu. Rename the file to: HJT.exe

When done - close that out.

Then Run the newly renamed file HJT.exe and do a system scan and save a log to post back here for review please.
