Hi there. This should be a fairly simple one:

I'm a happy user of Ad-Aware SE Plus and Ad-Watch, however, I've recently had to do a recovery on my computer, and they are no longer installed correctly.

Can I simply just delete the respective folders in "Program Files" and re-install?

Where do I go to re-install them, as the web site just seems to say "Purchase Now" and I already have a license. (I have no clue what my license details are - I've cleverly managed to lose 2 years worth of emails).

Thanks in advance.

Before re-installing, you need to have your licence details. As you don't have them, you'll need to contact Lavasoft. Unfortunately, their customer service and support is terrible, so keep hassling them until you get a response.

I have a similar situation. I do have my license ID. I just built a new computer, and it is my understanding we can run Ad-Aware on 2 PC's under the same license. I installed Ad-Aware SE Plus on the new computer, but it will not let me run Ad-Watch. I get: "this feature requires a licensed version of Ad-Aware to run". And "Click Here for Upgrade Information". I too am baffled.

I have spent about 2 hours searching this site to figure out what I need to do. Maybe it is something obvious, and I am working too hard at it.
Additionally, with the "old computer", I am reluctant now to reformat my C partition to upgrade to XP because of not knowing how the heck to get the licensing information "into" Ad-Watch.

Can you help or point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

I am editing this post since I do have to laugh at myself. Yes, I was working too hard at it..... I had 2 folders pertaining to LavaSoft - - and I used the wrong setup program !!!!! DUH.... It helps to use the correct program. I am now all set. Ad-Watch launches fine on the new computer.
