I bought the boxed version of Ad-Aware 1.05 and can't register at the lavasoft support customer registration webpage. Been trying for a week now.

The webpage the manual says to register at is:

The error message I keep getting is:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: domxml_open_mem() in /data/iweb/storage/lavasoft/data/support/customerregistration.php on line 113


How will I be able to upgrade to 1.06 if I can't even register my software?

Unfortunately, Lavasoft have very poor customer service and support. The staff don't even come on the forums here all that often, though you may get lucky and have one of them see your post.

I have the same problem and have wasted hours trying to get a resolution. This must effect an incredible amount of customers. Does anyone have a phone number to customer support?

i went thru the same issue for days wit ad ware, anyway searching the help site, you go into ad ware, click on the configuration window, click on tweak, deselect on suppress webupdate , then open adware, click on integ webupdate tool icon, click on configure, deselect the "use http proxy" option.

Try to update again

if problem, close adware go to lavasoft site and download latest def file.

I hope this helps you, I am going nuts trying to get my firewall working again, can't update can't register even when I own the disk, this is all madness.
