My PC runs Windows XP. I am running the current version of AAW 2007: 7.0.2.2.

Twice, now, I have gotten an error window called "Ad Aware 2007 An error has occured".
In the window it says:

Cleaning
UNABLE TO REMOVE FILE

Suggested Action
0

Will be removed after you
have restarted your computer

To my mind, this is not a very helpful message. It would be nice to know which of the files I was trying to remove caused the problem.

Also, the first time this happened, I was trying to remove cookies selectively, BUT, after I restarted my computer, ALL of the cookies were gone.

I have had this problem since DAY ONE and got tired of posting, not just here but in the "BUGS" forum but I stopped posting because lavasoft just ignored it and still does. Evidently not many people are having this problem, Bill. You are lucky it has only done it twice because it has become a major problem for me; does it all the time now; exactly as you describe it. If anyone else has this problem, please post; maybe they will do something!!! Are you listening, please, Lavasoft??

LS Tobias
We are working on an overhaul of the error messages in Ad-Aware 2007 to make them more intelligible.
