Ad-ware 2007 Free version wont work for me anymore. I try to do a full system scan and it is saying "unhandled exception...".
Therefore I wanted to uninstall this program and try to re-install it.
When I try to uninstal it tells me "error 1720, there is a problem with this windows installer package. a script required for this instal to complete could not be run. contact your support personal or package vendor.

I would suggest that you follow the steps in this AAW 2007 FAQ:
How do I resolve the "Error 1722" problem? QUOTE
This problem relates to the MSI installer from Microsoft; it is associated with either an outdated or corrupt Windows Installer or with permission for Windows Script Hosting
There are links for updating both the Windows Installer and the Windows Scripting Host
