After installing ad-aware 2007 I ran a smart scan and it seemed to be working fine but at the end when I tried to remove
the entries, it gave me the following message:

Access violation at address 00538202 in module 'Ad-ware2007.exe' read of address 0000000D
send this information to Lavasoft Support Team & also what I just did in order for them to help fix the problem.

What does this mean???

I have a similar issue. I'm using the Free Edition. Upon completion of a Smart Scan as I tried to remove the found items, I got the following message:

"An error has occurred in Ad-Aware 2007!

Component:
TVirtualStringTree

Message:
Access violation at address 005382D2 in module 'Ad-Aware2007.exe'. Read of address 0000000D."

I have been able to reproduce the phenomenon on two different days, after my PC had been turned off.
