My system:

XP Professional, internet wireless card connected to a home network. I have Ad-watch and Ad-aware. Right now I'm connected only because I uninstalled my LPF.

I had the same connection as I do now until about a week ago when I got a virus and had to reinstall XP. After reinstalling, I got the internet working, and then downloaded LPF from Lavasoft. After installing the firewall, I tried updating my Ad-aware definitions and realized it couldn't get to the internet. The same thing from my browser, Firefox. I uninstalled LPF and now I'm back online. I'm pretty sure I used the default setting on Rules Wizard mode. Any help you could give would be much appreciated. Thanks.
