I think I found out the reason:
Since this update in Ad Watch is "CONNET" (in light gray) enabled (there is an "automatic" hook) and there is no chance to disable!!
So I have the impression that Ad Watch allways wants to check each connection when surfing the Internet!!
Prior to this update there was no possibillity to enable/disable "CONNECT" it was allways light gray...
Pls check and correct!

Hi Erich,

Are you running AAW2007 Plus or Pro?

Connect is only available in the licensed Pro version (see the Product Comparison Chart) .

Spike

Hi Spike!

I am running AAW2007 PLUS >that´s why I was confused.
In the meantime (don`t ask me why) CONNECT is light grey as before ?!?

The Connect feature is not available in Plus, only in Pro. The button is supposed to be grayed out in Plus.

Hi Tobias!

I agree with you, I know that CONNECT is only available in v PRO. I have bought PLUS and I the button was always gray -untill update v 7.0.2.2!
(If you would have read my above statement - everything should be clear. Be proud that evan not foolish people are using AAW 2007...)
For the time beeing CONNECT is gray as before, and there is no chance to enable/disable....waiting for the next update.

Erich

Ok, so if I understand this correctly you started the Connect module when the button was active and now you can't turn it off?
Try closing Ad-Watch and then going to the folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware 2007
and remove the file 'Settings.aw' - Ad-Watch should then revert to its default settings.
