Hello

Please help me rid my computer of malware and viruses!!

Adaware keeps picking up the following tracking cookies among others:

myname@hit.gemius.pl/
myname@fast.click.net/
myname@www.burstnet.com/
myname@atdmt.com/
myname@tribalfusion.com/
myname@doubleclick.net/

I quarantine them but they're always back within hours.

I've also removed the following at various times with adaware, Sophos and AVG:

securepccleaner
Troj/VidCach-B
Troj/PmwDl-Gen
Mal/Generic-A
win32.Trojandownloader.Zlob

Is there any solution?

Many thanks

Hello,

* Download Trend Micro Hijack This™
Doubleclick the HJTInstall.exe to start it.
By default it will install HijackThis in the Program Files\Trendmicro folder and create a desktop shortcut.
HijackThis will open after install. Press the Scan button below.
This will start the scan and open a log.
Copy and paste the contents of the log in your next reply.

Sidenote - Please don't worry about tracking cookies. You'll always get them and they will always return. This just depends what sites you visit.
Everyone has them. They are even present on the MSN startpage, Yahoo startpage...

If you want to manage your cookies you can use next programs:

For Internet explorer: CookieWall

For Firefox: CookieSafe

Keep in mind that you're not supposed to block every cookie, because some cookies are required.
Most people don't use an additional cookie manager, because it may be annoying in some cases to manually filter all cookies in the beginning, so they clean their cookies once in a while via the "clean cookies" option in their browser settings.

First of all, I notice from the log that there are running more than one different Anti-Virus programs with Auto-protect enabled. Sophos and Symantec.
Never install more than one Antivirus and Firewall! Rather than giving you extra protection, it will decrease the reliability of it seriously!
The reason for this is that if both products have their automatic (Real-Time) protection switched on, your system may lock up due to both software products attempting to access the same file at the same time.
Also because more than one Antivirus and Firewall installed are not compatible with eachother, it can cause system performance problems and a serious system slowdown.

So you have to make a decision here and keep the Antivirus you prefer and uninstall the other one.
Then reboot after uninstalling.

Nothing suspicious here, but your startpage is responsible for the returning cookies:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.haaretz.com/

This since these cookies are present there.
As I already explained, please don't worry about tracking cookies.
