Hello everyone,
Ad-Aware 2007 detected some malwares on my computer. I put them in the ignore list and after having removed them with an anti-spyware, I would like to delete them from this ignore list. My concern is: If deleted from the Ignore list, are they removed from my hard disk or only removed from the Ignore list. I ask this question because the malwares infected 2 register Keys and I don't want having these keys lost.
Thanks for your help!

Nobody can help me??

It's only removed from the ignore list becouse you tell Ad-Aware to ignore this infections. If you press the delete button, it will be
restored and you have to do a new scan and then delete the infections if you want to completley remove it.

Thank you very much Gusten Svensson for your response. Everything is now OK

I need some guidance. I did a scan and Ad-Aware found 96 incidents. I accidently clicked on the ignore list button. Now it ignores any of these 96 in the scan process. How do I delete the ignore list in the free version of Ad-Adware?
Help!

Hi little eddie,

Open AAW 2007, then from the main, left-hand menu. select Scan > Quarantine & Ignore:

Under the Ignore tab, select the items that you wish to remove from Ignore and click on "Delete", which makes them detectable again.

Then open the "Settings" tab, and make sure that "Quarantine objects prior to removal" is selected:

Re-scan and this time select "Remove" - the items will be automatically Quarantined before being removed (they are unable to affect your system from inside the Quarantine folder).

Quarantined items should be kept for at least a few weeks, in case if anything vital to your system or an important program be removed or if it turns out to be a "false-positive", you can always restore it later.

Regards,

Spike
