I have tried Lavasoft 2007 (Home or Free version) on Wndows XP Professional SP 2 plus all the latest patches and it does not find anything. Tried Updating and got the SSL error. Downloaded by hand the latest file and re-run again = no results.
Re-installed the previous version from 5th October 2006 with no updates and it found 16 data miners. Left these alone and re-ran Lavasoft 2007 and it did not find anything, even though the previous version had found 16 and these had been left on the hard drive for 2007 to find.

What am I doing wrong?
Feel tempted to stay with the previous version from 5th October 2006 as it seems quicker and does report and delete data miners.
