Following a prior thread, I downloaded the installer from filehippo for earlier version AdAware Personal 1.06r1, which I understand to be the latest version available for Windows 98.
However, it will not install - get error msg "This install package cannot be installed. Must install a service pack that contains a newer version of Windows Installer".
My system is W98 SE 4.10.2222A with all issued updates.
How do I get the required installer ?
Microsoft has dropped support for W98 & I would like to run AdAware !
Help please !
