Full Version: Unable To Send E-mail Using Outlook/imap

I installed the Lavasoft Personal Firewall the other day and have been unable to send E-Mail since via IMAP. However I can send e-mail via Pop3/SMTP. I can receive IMAP and Pop3/SMTP E-Mail. I have tried everything. Trusting Outlook, ensuring the outgoing port is open, adding my E-Mail ISP to the exclusions list, and even disabling the firewall. Still it somehow blocks sending E-Mail.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am not a firewall expert and we don't have too many here in the public forums, but if you have registered your Lavasoft Personal Firewall, you have full advantage of one-on-one support via email at our Support Center here:
http://www.lavasoft.com/support/supportcenter/

You can sign in using the email address and password you were given at registration. They should be able to assist and answer your questions.

Also, to let you know the Lavasoft Blog has just announced here the availability of the PDF manual for the firewall v. 2.0, also available for download in the Support Center (look under the section *Product Manuals*) which is a nice reference to have as well.
