I've been able to download the definition files now but when I try to download from Update Manager, the Update Manager screen will go white and stop responding. I then have to open task manager to close it. I'll reopen Update Manager several times with the same result until it finally begins to download. It still takes alot of time to download because if I open another program during the process, it will stop responding; therefore, I have to restart the process with the same results (white screen). This is becoming ridiculously tedious and I may have to remove the program altogether with the hopes of finding one that works!

Please tell us which OS you are running,
Which version of Ad-Aware.
And last but not least we have to know your sec.programs.

I have had the same problem. I have found that, if I leave Update Manager alone, the updates will still download, but once they're finished, I still have to go into Task Manager and manually close Update Manager.
