I purchased adware 2007 plus today, and have some questions.

1. the save button does not save my settings in custom scan (c,d) drives?

2. ad-watch wont load at startup when "checked" to do so?

3. The "connect" button is faded out in adwatch???

system is:

Windows XP SP2

Athlon 64 X2 4400+

2gig DDR 400

Nvidia 7600 GT (PCIE)

IF THAT HELPS??

Thanks, Chris biggrin.gif

I have re-startsd the program, re-booted my PC, and re-istalled the program?

The programme is "Buggy", you are not having any different problems than everyone else, I hope you get some support, I didn't.

Hi, wacky 1 biggrin.gif
Custom settings are only for the current scan ( choose drives and folders for now / next scan - new choosing ).
Please open AAW2007 >> go to Scanning >> have a look to Performance tuning >> make sure that the 'Deactivate
Ad-Watch' option is disabled.
Connect is a component from the Pro version.
Hope it helps

Hi wacky1,

As Raziel ( smile.gif ) says, Connect is available only to Professional users.

As to your Ad-Watch settings:
QUOTE
Ad-Watch wont load at startup when "checked" to do so?

Open Ad-Watch and go to "Settings > General":

Select your choices then shrink Ad-Watch back to the system-tray by clicking the "X" - Click to view attachment.

Then right-click on the Ad-Watch icon in the system-tray Click to view attachment and select "Close Ad-Watch":

Click "Yes" in the next dialogue-box:

Then re-open Ad-Watch by double-clicking the desktop (or "quick-launch") icon - your settings should now be saved.

Regards,

Spike
