My computer is running Windows 98 and can't handle anything above that. I've been using Ad-Aware SE Personal for a few years now and never had problems. The last time it updated the search files however, it shows 2 modules at critical objects and when I go to quarantine them it just sits there at the deleting page forever and freezes up. I also went into my files to try to manually delete the problem files and they're standard windows files that it's saying there's a problem with. I also have Spybot installed and when I scanned with that it found nothing. I figured that maybe there was an issue with my Ad-Aware, and uninstalled it. Went to re-install and now all that I can find to download is this new 2007 version which isn't 98 supported. Lots of people are still running computers with less than Windows 2000, is Ad-Aware no longer supporting these versions?

Hi nicaha,
Ad-Aware SE 1.06 will be supported for some months to come - sorry, haven't been given an exact cut-off date.
In the interim you could re-download AAW SE Personal as per my post at the end of this Topic:
