AdAware doesn't see this, but I keep getting a popup that some app is trying to communicate with ak.bluestreak.com

Anyone know what this is?

It is probably a Flash advertisement trying to phone home. I wouldn't worry about it. As good practice, I would suggest downloading the latest version of Flash, as well as keeping up with Windows Update.

Thanks for posting. I have had same irritating pop up for weeks now. Tried adaware which did not find it for me either. After reading your post I updated my own adaware AGAIN and re ran it.

Found the bluestreak thing this time and I have quarantined it.

Suggest you update again, and re run. Then select the bluestreak item and quarrantine it.

Keep updating and running your adaware, some of the messengers in my list ran over 3,000 hits. They are busy and slow the machine tremendously.

Thanks for posting. I was googling for a solution to that irritating popup myself when I found your post, which is WHY I updated my adaware and re ran it. So you really helped me out by making me stop and think again.

I'm having the same problem. I ran my anti spyware from Yahoo and AOL and it doesn't pick up the bluestreak thing.

Does the free version of ad aware pick up bluestreak, or do I have to get the paid version?
