After using Ad-Aware for some time without problems, suddenly, openning it will display 1 of 2 messages:
"Error: Core Engine Busy" or "Internal Error..." The "Suggested Actions" are always blank. When it does this, I must reinstall it in order to get it to stop. I have tried this in Windows XP Pro and Vista Home Premium with the same results. Otherwise too, Ad-Aware works fine under Vista. The errors in Vista are the same as they occur in Windows XP. Also, when retrieving updates, Ad-Aware will report that there is an update to update manager. When you say yes to get it, it will attempt to update all of Ad-Aware as if you have Pro installed, when actually you only have Home Free. Once you do this, these errors either immediately start (they happen whether you do this or not though) or you get some message about not being able to connect to recieve updates or updates failed, or, the updates will fail and then trying again it will only attempt to get the definition update and then fail doing that. Anyway, I have reinstalled Ad-Aware about 10-12 times on both of these PCs and I still run into these issues.
