Ad-Aware SE Build 1.06r1 Web-Update is treating me badly.

Last successful Web-Update download was definitions file: SE1R178 29.06.2007. Using Web-Update today I see SE1R179 04.07.2007 but after it downloads 100% I get a pop-up that declares "The downloaded definitions could not be read, please update again."

Work-around: Download the current “zip defs” file (at this writing is SE1R179 04.07.2007) from Lavasoft using the link in the Help “Update the definition file” entry and unzip it into the proper folder after saving the current defs.ref SE1R178 file.

So, what the hey? Is this an un-subtle “time to upgrade to Adaware 2007” signal?
