I posted the following question back on June 8th: "Since MS will be discontinuing support for Win98 in Jluy, will Lavasoft that we have loaded still function? Will we still receive download updates? Please advise."
LS SteveJ was kind enough to supply following response: "Hello Gotaro. Ad-Aware SE will continue to run on Windows 98, and we will be providing updated definition files... we wont leave you out in the cold, dont worry!"
We were glad to learn that we could continue to use our Adaware 1.06r1 and receive download updated definition files. My wife said she heard that AdAware is coming out with a new version and wanted to know if we would be able to upgrade to a new version of AdAware if/and when it does come out. Or would we always have to use the version we now have (1.06r1).

LS SteveJ will i no doubt come and let you know for sure but if the release is like the last time a new version was released then you should be notified via E-Mail and you will be informed where to download the new version from but you will need your registration details when downloading it.
