I've been a user of this product for years. I've loved it and recommended it to many. However, ever since my upgrade I've been unable to run Ad-Watch. I use Mailwasher and outlook for email. Mailwasher will launch Outlook automatically if it is not open. It can no longer do that. The PC chokes and I have to reboot. If I try to open Outlook first it's not able to retrieve mail from the server. If I shut-down Ad-Watch, all is well. However, I renewed my subscription because I wanted realtime protection.

Also, In my Ad-Aware main window, it says realtime protection is turned off. Even if I launch Ad-Watch from the Ad-Aware application. I'm running a clean machine and keep it up-to date. I have a W2K, 1GBMhz pentium with 392 MB RAM. I have reported the later problem to TS and keep getting the same stock answers back. I must say I'm very disappointed.

System resource hogging by Ad-Aware 2007 is a know bug and is being worked on. Also, try just turning off Ad-Watch Connect and see if it helps any.

I only have the plus version so Connect is greyed-out to me. Thanks for responding though. It's good to know the resource issue is being worked on. Do you have any idea when a new build might be available?

What version do you have now? I'm not really sure when a new version will be released but I will gladly notify you when one does.
