What is with not being able to register from the email they sent me with my serial number?

Also, when trying to register the serial number from within the application, it returns an error saying that "it appears to be invalid".
What?

I purchased Ad-Aware Pro 2007 on June 9 and had the same problem with being unable to register. After many e-mails and sending general support my hardware fingerprint and element5 invoice I received, yesterday June 29, a new registration number which worked fine. There have been issues but support seems to be catching up on the back log of request.

How does one find out where to send that email to when the brand new product won't accept the serial number? What's that email address? huh.gif

Oh, I found the email address to send registration problem info to, it's the near last line in the email sent back afer the purchase. Following the line that says to type in, don't copy & paste, the registration key (which doesn't work for me either).

It is important that you make sure that the registration is not being blocked by a firewall.

A few users have also encountered problems when web acceleration software has interfered with the registration process.

I have the same problem. Why have such a complex registration process that it churns your user base? It doesn't make sense to me. someone in some meeting didn't think this out far enough.
