Full Version: Service Error 6000

I keep getting a error when I try to run a scan on the new version. "Service error: 6000 has occurred. Lost connection with Ad-Aware service." Any body else had this one? I had no problem running the Ad-Aware Beta version on my computer.

This is a brand new computer I just put together - Windows Vista Ultimate. 2 GB of RAM I did uninstall the old versions before installing the new one.

Glad I am not working for Lavasoft right now, I bet they are really busy. Hey it is a new version. they'll get bugs fixed soon

NB: If you check the June issue of Lavasoft News, it states in the "Ad-Aware 2007 Premiere " section:
QUOTE
While Ad-Aware 2007 will not be Vista compatible right away, a Vista compatible version (32-bit) will be released at the end of August, and all Ad-Aware users with a valid license will immediately receive the Vista compatible version update upon its release.

From memory, the 64-bit compatible version is scheduled for 4th quarter 2007.

Since you are using Vista Premium, you may experience some issues prior to the Vista-compatible versions being released.
