Note: This applies to new purchases or new upgrades only!
Existing Plus and Pro SE users will have a new version 2007 available through the Support Center on June 21


If you are upgrading your version to the new Ad-Aware 2007 version AND you are a Plus or Pro customer, you may find that you need to continue through a certain point after installation in order to register your product. If you do not,you may find that you have only installed the Free version and instead of your paid Plus or Pro version.

Here are the instructions to guide you through that process to ensure you have your registered Ad-Aware 2007 Plus or Pro. smile.gif

HOW TO GET STARTED

1. Download Ad-Aware 2007 installation file.
2. Follow prompts for the Installation Wizard to install.
3. Click Finish to complete the installation and to launch Ad-Aware 2007.
4. Program automatically looks for updates.
If "Your definition file is up to date", Click OK
If "There are new software updates available! Do you want to go to the download location?" Click OK
Near the bottom right of the screen, under License Status, click "Renew"
5. Click on the "Register" button to register your product.

* In order to activate the real-time and advanced features of Ad-Aware 2007 Plus and Pro versions, the product must be registered.

6. Choose the license type from the drop-down menu. The second screenshot shows the detail in the "choose License Type" drop menu. Be SURE you have highlighted the correct one!

7. Insert serial number (received after purchase in Lavasoft e-mail). Click on OK.


8. A popup will appear asking you to wait while it verfies your License. Then on the “Thank you for registering Ad-Aware 2007!", Click OK.

9. Close program and restart (desktop icon) to activate full feature version of Ad-Aware 2007 Plus or Pro.

Please refer to the Product Manual for more information about using Ad-Aware 2007.

We are aware of some users having the following problems registering their product. See below please, if you are one of them:

1. Some people are reporting that their serial numbers do not work. They need to try the following: Actually type in the serial number (it cannot be ‘cut and paste’).


2. The e-mail that people receive with their serial number on it makes a reference of using that number to ‘unlock’ the features in their paid versions. There are 2 options on the registration window – the first is to list the serial number, the second is to unlock the product. Some people are trying to list the serial number in the input field for unlocking the product.
Please be sure you are putting the correct number in the proper field

Don't forget that people who have purchased or paid versions of Ad-Aware are entitled to free one-on-one help in the Support Center which is manned by the Support Team if you have any issues or questions:
