I have been very pleased with Ad-aware SE Personal. It is easy to use and served me well.
Unfortunately, after updating my definitions today, it now locks up and will not respond.
What do i do now?

hi,

that depends upon your operating system,

if you have windows 2000pro, xp, or vista then uninstall SE and install ad-aware 2008. if not, you'll have to install some other vendors security software.

What operating system are you using Zeigbot?

Manual definions have only worked with 2000/XP/Vista since last May, so I suspect you're running one of these. If so, then maybe the latest manual update is corrupted (as has happened several times before) and you'll need to wait for the next one to become available later in the week.
