I know Adware SE is no longer supported. But I would like to know what the last Def.ref file was that would work with the program.
And my question is there a file size limit for SE which the current Def.ref file exceeds? Thanks. This post has been edited by PaulWin98SE: Aug 13 2008, 08:48 AM |

If, as your name alludes, you're refering to SE under Windows 98SE, the final file that worked was SE1R247. Subsequent files cause an error in SE under 98/ME but appear to work fine if you're running XP. If you need a copy of this file, ask gelert nicely. But I'd advise caution, as the file is 3 months out of date, and therefore provides no protection against malware created in the interim. Better to switch to a product from another company that still supports 98/ME such as:- |
