I just downloaded the 7/22/08 SE definitions. However, when I open the ZIP file, it reads 10/1/08.

What happened?

However, when installed, the date appears correctly

The problem is not the date, but the functionality mad.gif

I run a check and it found 0 objects --> reinstalled the last week's definitions--> run a new check--> 8 objects found

So, can we use this Zip/Ref even though it reads Oct 2008?

Did you read my post?

If you install the file, the date will be correct in the program screen, however, the new definitions will not recoginze any cookie or other critical object.
So, in my opinion, install the new file is pointless
Of course, this is just my opinion and I am not an expert
