Not everyone is enamored of Windows XP or Vista. |

JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IN THIS THREAD, I CAN NO LONGER UPDATE THE DEFINITIONS FOR MY AA SE PERSONAL - MANUAL UPDATES FAIL JUST AS INDICATED ABOVE - AND I TOO AM RUNNING IT ON WIN98SE. ALSO, I CANNOT UPDATE THE AA TO 2007 BECAUSE AA 2007 DOES NOT RUN ON WIN98SE. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHETHER AA 2008 RUNS ON WIN98SE (BEFORE I TRY TO INSTALL IT)?? PLEASE LAVASOFT FIX THIS PROBLEM - MY WIN98SE LAPTOP IS JUST FINE FOR MY PURPOSES - IT MAY BE A JALOPY BUT IT GETS ME THERE. THANKS. glnz

No, unfortunately, ad-aware 2008 will not run on Win98 either. Lavasoft has taken the decision not to support legacy operating systems (such as Win98) and no longer supports Ad-Aware SE either. It highly recommended that you move to another anti-malware software provider for legacy systems.
