I have Adaware SE Professional 1.06 and i haven't been able to get any defination updates in the past month. It stops at 5%. I use windows XP. Would anyone be able to help me out or let me know what the problem might be. Thanks in advance for the help.

I think you have the same problem I do - your subscription has expired. no updates are provided after 1-1-08 although my last update was Apr-14-08.
Lavasoft makes it difficult to resubscribe. I tried to as an existing member, but since my email address has changed since the last subscription I could not apply as an existing member. Should I just apply as a new member? I wonder why no notice of expiration was sent as I have been getting the newsletters. OttoJ |

I done what it said there and it still won't update. It keeps stopping at 5%. Would you know of anything else for us to try? Thanks |

It relates to customers using certain Internet Service Providers. The problem produces the Ad-Aware SE warning: "Error retrieving updates" when performing a webupdate. These will answer your questions.
