I have the same problem. I have SEIR 210 27.12.2007, Build 253, SE Personal. I check every day and it says " no update available" I am 25 days without a update. Is there a problem?

Thanks for any information.

Unfortunatly, Ad-Aware se is going to the gutter. The new 2007 is taking it's place. You can still get the def. files by manually downloading it from this site. I can't recall the exact location, but if you poke around, you'll find a link.
The 2007 is as about as friendly as a chainsaw stuck on full throttle; you never know what it is doing or what it is about to do. I think alot of folks will just keep manually downloading the def files till Lavasoft comes up with something more user friendly or an alternative can be found. unsure.gif

gelert,
Nothing is downloadable from here..I found where there is a zip file for manual downloads, tried it and now I have posted urgently for help which I've not received yet.
I should have my link to my post here. I need help. Read around the site ,it's completely filled with this question that ended 12/27 and the majority are not only unhappy but having trouble.
I should find my link ,because I need urgent help and not getting it yet.

The point still for this post is you can download manually for old version, update to 2007 if luckky and you like it ,etc...
The link will not work here for any manual updates.

Weelee2

P.S My most recent post and need of help request ASAP,please. If anyone can help ,of course I would be deeplt appreciative.

Guess It's not clickable. Here's what he wrote. Maybe I added wrong link because he moved me?[/color] Hi weelee2,

Updating from Ad-Aware SE 1.06 to Ad-Aware 2007 is relatively straight-forward.

First, uninstall AAW SE then download AAW 2007 v7.0.2.6 from here or [i]here and install.

Once installed, go to the "Settings" tab at the lower-left and use my recommended settings as per the screen shots in this Topic: [i]http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?s...c=15414&hl=

Scans with AAW 2007 are likely to take a little longer in AAW SE, simply because it is more thorough.

Ad-Aware SE was an update of older technology, whereas AAW 2007 has been built from scratch to meet the demands of the currently-evolving modern malware. We all were used to AAW SE so it may take a little time to get used to AAW 2007 - that said, it is a much more appropriate product to fight current and future malware.

Regards,

Spike
