Hi,

I have the "Plus Edition " with adaware 2007 with Win XP sp2

All about internet and intranet and network have crashed on my computer (I have no firewall),
When I have close the computer Adaware has asked to be closed manually (with confirm screen) and I had a blue screen with a dll error.
When the computer has restarted, the disk scan (because of the previous blue screen) has found several corrupted files in my computer :

..\ad-aware 2007\awelog.xml
..\ad-aware 2007\setting.aw

these corrupted file has affected too several files in my computer setting and has reseted several Win XP options.

I accept sotware crash, but not that this software destroy my hard drive. mad.gif

Join the club.
At least you caught yours before it destroyed the operating system.
The new 2007 took 45 miinutes to eradicate my registry.
And no-one has responded, either on these forums or via e-mail to a support request sent earlier in the week.

How does System Restore work for you?
If I can get this open once, I need to know if System Restore (XP Pro, SP2) will fix it.
