Upload definitions, upload Options

I,ve bought this software to be sure , not to get viruses.

But.... If i check automaticaly looking for updates, it go,s so fast that im not sure if its uploading def.

Message: 100%. That,s ok i think. But then i see below( news) your def are old. Pls update the latest def.

I Uploaded several times the latest definitions and installed these, but I still get the same message.

At this moment I have the def from 14 jan, 2008.

It really bothers me, if i buy a product like this i expect that everything works as it should be.

Can somebody give me an explanation/solution?

And if possible in Dutch please
