Sorry if this is not the proper place for this.

I have several items on my pc that Adaware finds while doing a scan, then I fix them, or "delete" them, but when I re-start my pc they are still there.

I created a log file from the latest scan:

Name:Win32.Trojan.Agent
Category:Malware

Location:C:\...\RP281\A0044716.dll

Comment:

Description:Adware.Yazzle tricks the user into installing a game that is bundled with Adware software. Adware.Yazzle can also be installed without user consent while accessing websites that use browser exploits to force install by trojan downloaders. The software is not removed by the supplied uninstaller.

I've tried running the Adaware in Safe mode (where this log came from) and it still does not get rid of my problems. I've also got an icon that keeps popping up on my desktop that looks like a little yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it that says "Click to Find and Fix Errors". And now I've got a bunch of popup windows that are so bad that I can't really spend any time on the 'net because I can't see anything except pop up and pop under windows.

I've got one window that keeps popping up where the title bar says "Command Desktop" and this window does not even show up in my taskbar.

I've used Adaware for many years now and never had this kind of problem. Anyone else have these issues? And can anyone please help me get rid of this crap? I've searched through several websites looking for an answer and have nothing...

This topic is abandoned and obsolete (posted back in May)

Starwarsgeek solved his problem in another topic.

However, please note that Ad-Aware isn't Vista compatible yet which could be why it is having problems removing the malware.
It would best for you to start a new topic and post your Hijackthis log.
