quarantine files?

hi. sorry, anyone could tell me:with ad-aware personal, if the files detected as malware are in the quarantine chest, does it mean that they are successfully removed and inactive or do i have to delete them from the registry? thanks if anyone can help. ollio72

Once an item has been quarantined it is inactive but I recommend that you keep the quarantined items a couple of weeks before deleting the items that you have.

Once an item has been quarantined it is inactive but I recommend that you keep the quarantined items a couple of weeks before deleting the items that you have.

thanx grafx. the malware is the softmate toolbar of which you spoke about previously in another topic. i see it is a prob that afllicts several people. ciao
