I have just recommended your product to a friend who has the "v9.com" browser hijacker.

But its not found and not removed. (Freeware Licence).

This thing is very nasty and infects ALL installed Browsers.

Hi theogott,

Please, to get help with cleaning the computer follow the instructions in the topic Read This Before You Post!. I'll need to see the DDS logs to know how to proceed.

The browsers are hijacked because the computer user installed a program and accepted that the installation program changed the browser settings. It's not a malicious program but a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program).

Hallo, also hier sind die gewünschten Dateien.
Rund uim den V9.com gibtes in Google(die ersten Links) sehr zweifelhafte Removal Tools,

und daher wäre es besser es wegzubekommen.

Sorry, theogott, this is an English-speaking forum.

When searching for removal of malicious or questionable programs/add-ons, it is very easy to find pages with misleading or even bad advices. Since Google searches depends on country and previous searches, I can't know which pages you found.

Please, save AdwCleaner by Xplode on the desktop: http://general-chang...de/2-adwcleaner

Turn off all programs, including browsers.
Double-click on AdwCleaner to start the program.

Click on the Scan button.
Wait until the search has finished.

Click on the Report button.
A report will be displayed, copy its content and paste into your answer.
If the report isn't displayed, it exist as C:\AdwCleaner[R1].txt.

Interesting, in this case the google result is much better then the Yahoo result that i get from Lavasoft search.

For example this here:
http://www.2-spyware...-com-virus.html

doesn't look like a good result.

Using google today, I found this page:

http://www.v9.com/st.../uninstall.html

and this:

http://malwaretips.com/blogs/v9-portal-site-removal/

and other pages that show how this thing can be removed.

These sites seem to be new, at least i did not see them in my last search.

They seem to have the bussiness model "There are quite enough pepople left who will not remove the ###### and then we will always benefit from them".

If it works we will see more such in the future.

As it looks now i should be able to remove it. I can try end of the week and see.

If you hear nothing more, then i could remove it.

www.2-spyware.com often links to programs that can't remove the malicious or bad program and/or don't remove it if you don't pay first.

malwaretips.com seems to suggest the same programs regardless of the malicious or bad program (and the snapshots are the same and don't match the files to be removed), but the programs are good and at least one of them usually removes the unwanted program.

It's up to you, I can help you but, of course, you can follow the advices of other persons if you prefer that.
