But some bugs found in 9.5.1 has been corrected in 9.6.

Starting on the page:

http://lavasoft.com/...er/my_downloads

I click on the link "Software - Download software from our mirror site" which takes me through:

http://origin.lavasoft.com/adaware/

to:

http://files.lavasof...re96Install.msi

which is an http 404 not found.

The FileHippo link CeciliaB quotes above leads only to AdAware version 10.
I would like to download a new copy of AdAware version 9.6. Can Lavasoft please provide a working link? I am a registered paid customer of many years' standing.

Thanks.

Added on edit, I missed "right column" look there! Actually you need 2 x right column on the FileHippo link and a good bit of intuition to get there, but in the end there's a FileHippo download waiting for those determined enough.

Hi Adaverse01,

Nice that you found the right download link. Maybe the FileHippo page looks different for me since all ads are blocked.

How do you block the ads may I ask? For me that was the original reason to get AdAware.

Ad-Aware don't block ads on web pages, it will, for example, stop programs that displays ads to be installed in the computer. But Ad-Aware is nowadays a program that finds virus, trojans, spyware, tracking cookies and other malware.

I think most ads are stopped in my computer by a special host file, see http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm
