Has ad-aware 10.2 been released It is been published in Download.com but installer is same old one of 5.9 MB.

It is possible that the size of the online installer is still the same.

I receive:"Couldn't connect to update service", when I try to update from the GUI.

I mean to update to the new version. Now it says "current version is up to date".

Sometimes companies divides their users into groups and let one group at a time update to a new version, since if all users were allowed to update, the servers wouldn't have enough capacity. My Ad-Aware also says that it is up to date.

Now I was informed that there is a problem with Cnet.com that hosts the installation file, and for some reason (unknown to me) they have gone back to 10.1.

2 questions:
1.How can I get a full 10.2 offline installer?
2.Can I install 10.2 over 10.1 or I should uninstall the older version first?

1. Maybe by contacting Lavasoft support. No offline installer is distributed officially.

I downloaded ad-aware 10.2 from download.com removed my ad-aware 10.1 and reinstalled 10.2 all went fine.now i am using 10.2
