Hi,
I installed ad aware 10.1 free, but runs a trial of 30 days pro version. And it start up automatically and stays at trays icon. I do not want to start that way. How can I fix these issues?

Hi rpsbel,
If you don't want to use the features in Ad-Aware Pro Trial, you turn off all features under "Advanced Protection" on the main screen of Ad-Aware. Or you wait until 10.2 is released (any day now), which will install a 30 day trial of Ad-Aware Free Antivirus+.
Ad-Aware 10 can only protect your computer if it starts automatically, you can't use it only as an on-demand scanner.
It is still possible to use Ad-Aware 9.6, if you can configure it as an on-demand scanner.

You are welcome, rpsbel
I'm from Sweden, so it far away. I think Cecilia is rather well-known in whole western Europe and in the countries that a lot of Europeans moved to. It is a name from ancient Rome/Italy and spread together with the Latin language.
You can download Ad-Aware 9.6 from FileHippo: http://www.filehippo...ad-aware/10910/
