I use several security tools that many Av programs "freak" out on and call hack tools or Trojans. I can not add them to the ignore list because it does not list the DLL in question. When I use Explorer the file is in the proper location and is confirmed as being present and functional. In the add box "File Type" is set to all. The location is confirmed as being correct also if you try to enter the location manually it displays the "File not found" dialog box. I can not provide more info about the type of file sorry it is proprietary.

On the PC in question, it is the Pro 30-Day Trial (see first post for version). Sorry, I would like to blame any miss information on rum. (in advance of receipt)

Sorry that I missed that. I'll move this topic to Ad-Aware 10.x forum.
That's strange since Ad-Aware lists all files including .dll files in my computer. I'll try to ask my contact person at Lavasoft.

Is it possible that the files you want to add have one of the attributes hidden or system file?

Nope, it is only set as archive. It shows other DLL files just not this one.

I think Lavasoft needs more information about the file to be able to investigate why that particular file is not included in the list. I understand that you don't want to make the file public in the forum but is it possible for you to send the file directly to Lavasoft?

Sorry, no. I can not nor could I allow any identifying details about the file. This is not my choice.

Can you allow Lavasoft to connect to your computer for investigation?
You will be able to see on your monitor exactly what they are doing.

That would be identifying the file.

Sorry, but then it is impossible for Lavasoft to investigate why that particular file isn't displayed and fix it.

Unfortunate, but, expected. No worries, I am sure that in the next release they will fix this issue. Thanks for your time and effort.
