Hi, an Ad-Aware Security Toolbar blocks a number of sites for me, e.g. Amazon. How do I get rid of this toolbar?? Please help, this is really very annoying. Or is it a virus?

hello CeciliaB, thank you for your quick answer. it seems I got rid of it. I googled some more and apparently it indeed is a virus or trojan. I got the pro-version of Ad-Aware (30-day test version) and did a complete system scan. seems it got it.

Ad-Aware Security Toolbar is a toolbar that is included in Ad-Aware 9.6 and 10.x. But maybe you mean that the computer was infected and the infection stopped Amazon etc.
