Today, I've installed the new Lavasoft Ad-Aware Version 10.
Since than, whenever I click on the right button an an program icon, an Ad-Aware Antivirus configuration process starts. This causes the error 1706:

 Error 1706.jpg   63.66K   2 downloads

I think, Yhuzan has posted the same problem a few days before.
What was the reason?
Is there a solution? What can I do?

Hi ImmiMax,

Thank you for your post. Please uninstall the program, by going to:
Start -> Programs -> Lavasoft -> Ad-Aware -> and click on Uninstall Ad-Aware
*** Please make sure to uncheck the boxes to remove the definitions, files kept and settings as this will ensure that no part of the software is left on the system ***

Reboot your computer.

Then download the software again, re-install it, and register it again.

http://download100.lavasoft.com/adaware/updates/Ad-Aware_Antivirus_Free_Setup_10.1.211.3382.exe

Make sure to Reboot your computer. This step is crucial.
