I write on behalf of Mansion (Gibraltar) Ltd, a company licensed and regulated in Gibraltar to operate several online gaming websites.
We run weekly tests of our website portals and download file against popular anti virus/spam programs, to ensure that we are not infected with anything, AND to keep on the lookout for false positives (which seem to happen every now and then, despite the fact we carry no malicious content).
Our IT Team alerted us to the fact that:
Have all been blocked (both the website and we assume, the download client), when running the test with Ad Aware Free installed and with the "Disable Shop and Bank Safely Online" setting in Green. Indeed, when trying to access the website it says "To keep you safe, this page was blocked by Ad Aware 10 "Shop & Bank safely online" feature." So it would seem that this particular feature is blocking our websites and download files.
We have lots of processes in place to ensure that we stay free of viruses etc. This blocking by Ad Aware Free causes direct damage to our business (in terms of people not being able to access the websites or the downloads) as well as damage to our reputation, as people will be mistakenly believeing that we have viruses or any other malicious content - which we are certain we don't.
I would really appreciate if someone could get back to me confirming that all our websites and download files will be unblocked.
If they will not be unblocked, we would appreciate a justitification for this - please be assured if there is an issue we will do anything we can to fix it.
Please get back to me as a matter of urgency, I attach images of the error messages,
