Hi guys,

is it possible to uninstall Ad-Aware Antivirus 10 in Safe Mode? I got a bluescreen everytime i try to start Windows in Normal Mode.

I am not sure but do you have another antivirus installed on your pc?

How can I remove Ad-Aware completly? In Safe Mode it says that the Windows Installer is not running, so i can't uninstall it...

Hi Brax,

You can try a system restore to the restore point created before the installation of Ad-Aware:
Start menu - All programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore

Did you get a warning that an antivirus program was installed when you installed Ad-Aware? If not, which antivirus program do you have?

No, I did not get a warning from Ad-Aware, the AV program is "Trend Micro Client-Server Security" Version 16.0.1341.

There is no system restore point on this Laptop :-(

I'm glad your problem is resolved and it was you that solved it and not we so thank you for informing us

I'll tell my contact person at Lavasoft that they have missed to check if Trend Micro is installed.

Lavasoft is already working on including a check of Trend Micro's programs.
