Quick scans seems that they will never end,why? I haven't complete a scan yet.

I don't know why Quick scan will not finish in your computer. Does it start, displays that any files are checked etc.?

Hi,thanks for your reply,Quick scans starts in my computer and it seems that is scanning allright,the thing is that it takes too long,after the first hour I get tired an cancelled the scan.I know it will end,but its take so long.I have tried other antivirus an the scans don't take that long.I hate to remove ad-aware because of this problem,I really like this anti - virus.

Quick scan is usually finished within 10 minutes and in my computer it takes 1-2 minutes. Did you have another antivirus program installed?
If two antivirus programs are installed and then when one of them starts to read and check files, it is possible that the other antivirus program also starts to check the same file and then the first program notices that a program wants to open a file and wants to check it too. This behaviour will certainly mean that the scan will take a very long time. If two antivirus programs are installed, one of them should be inactivated when the other scans the computer.
