Hello Bere,
Thank you for the help. Can you please provide us more details about what was done? How did you get that files, how did they appear in quarantine (after scan (if yes, which) or real-time protection)? What did you do to move them out the quarantine? And after what actions did they appear in Ignore List? Any additional information will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Ann

ok, they are some folders that where on my external hard drive that became shortcuts when the worm attacked but i could still access the information, I scanned the external drive and it told me that the files needed to be put in quarantine, not thinking that it would take away all the information in the folder I said ok to quarantine and then realized that all my information had been moved to quarantine. To take it out I went to scan -> quarantine then selected my folders and clicked on restore -> Perform Actions Now and thats when they where sent to the ignore list. Do you need anything else??

Hi bere,
The ignore list is only a list of names, it does not contain the actual files. The file names are listed there so they will not be put in quarantine again. Are you sure that the files have not been restored to the external hard drive?

I've checked the files are there but I can't gain access to them. I'm trying to find a way to do so

The files are still there, but I can't access them and I can't see them. Its when one runs a scan that I know everything is still there.
