Hi Black Ghost,
Are you using Ad-Aware 10 as the only antivirus program or do you have another antivirus program installed too?

I have Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, Spybot - Search & Destroy 2 installed. So with the new vesrion 10 in the free version you get both antivirus and antispyware? Before it was just antispyware and had to upgrade/pay to get antivirus part. Tell me if I am wrong you should only run one antivirus and can run more them one antispyware.

Yes, Ad-Aware 10 is both antivirus and antimalware. Even Ad-Aware 9 was both, but then the real-time protection in Free was not complete why it was seldom any problem running Ad-Aware 9 and another antivirus program. But in Ad-Aware 10 it is a complete real-time protection and it should not be combined with another antivirus program, if you don't turn off real-time protection and only use Ad-Aware as an on-demand scanner.

Since Ad-Aware 10 is using parts from Vipre antivirus program, it is normal to have a SBAMSvc.exe process running after installation of Ad-Aware. Be sure to select to see processes for all users in Task Manager, Process tab.
